Environmental Statement

The Board of Directors of Hylands Golf Cub, recognizing its responsibility for the operation of the golf club and the need for sound environmental stewardship, has adopted that Hylands Golf Club shall:

• integrate environmental concerns with other relevant concerns, including those from operations, finance, safety and health;
• meet or exceed the intent of all federal environmental laws and, where appropriate, be compatible with municipal and provincial standards;
• ensure all employees receive appropriate environmental training and improve the environmental awareness of members;
• ensure that environmental and sustainable development strategies are considered in procurement of goods and services;
• exercise due diligence in all aspects of the management and operation of the golf club.
